Psychological Therapy including Mindfulness Meditation

What is it?

Psychological Therapy is a method of working in depth with people who are grappling with a range of personal and well-being issues - including diagnosed mental health conditions.

The goal of a psychologist is not just to learn more about their client’s thoughts and behaviour, but to put that knowledge into practice by supporting them to solve their day-to-day problems, thereby improving their quality of life.

Mindfulness Meditation is a method employed by our therapists to help clients non-judgmentally observe their patterns of thought. The goal of this technique is to release stress by letting go of the negativity that dominates their thinking.

Who can it help?

Some of the reasons our patients visit include:

  • referral from a GP as part of a Mental Health Plan

  • a serious health crisis e.g. cancer

  • anxiety, depression, stress and grief

  • therapy for individuals, couples or families
